GWCCS Cancer Hotline


 

Barely a generation ago, cancer was almost an unspoken word. It was whispered or referred to merely as "C" as if avoiding the word could somehow prevent the disease’s awful consequences.

Today cancer survivors, their families, friends and caregivers have learned that talking about the disease and its implications can help. Sharing experiences provides information and insight that can lighten their burden, strengthen their ability to cope, and enrich their lives.


   
 
GWCCS often receives requests from its membership for assistance finding cancer survivors and caregivers with conditions similar to their own. GWCCS has run a telephone/fax "hotline" for this express purpose for several years. To this telephone hotline, GWCCS is now adding an
