1992 Washingtonians of the Year
Here are 1992's Washingtonians of the Year, the people who have done the most to make this a better place for all of us. Some of the winners work in the spotlight, some do their good deeds quietly. Some build great institutions, some hold a child's hand. All are a reminder that it is people, not monuments that make Washington such a special place. Since 1971, we have honored almost 400 people as Washintonians of the Year. They show that one person still can make a difference. They show that miracles still can happen. and they make us proud to call this city home.
